Note that during printing, the SwiftTool nozzle and SwiftTool nozzle heater are very hot (up to 260 °C) and will burn if touched. We highly recommend keeping the lid and doors closed during the whole printing process for all filaments requiring a heated chamber. Please also allow time to cool down before making a SwiftTool exchange. See section Swapping SwiftTools. |
Please also note that metal components within the printer body will become warm (up to 60-70 °C) when the heated chamber is used. Even after printing, these parts - such as the x/y-axes rods, interior metal frame, z-screw, etc. - will be warm until the interior has cooled. Therefore, we highly recommend that you allow the interior to cool before touching any metal components and, if you must touch a metal component before the printer is completely cool, that you do so with caution.
