ZYYX PLA

The ZYYX PLA is our PLA blend that ensures stable overhang performance and excellent surface quality, due to controlled viscosity in the cooling phase. PLA is a eco friendly biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources. PLA is used as the first choice for prototyping and producing parts that will not be exposed to thermal or high mechanical stress. The surface of the ZYYX PLA will be semi-glossy.

ZYYX ABS

The ZYYX ABS is our ABS blend that performs well with our build plate due to the polymer mix. Our ABS is excellent for printing prototypes or production parts that are exposed to medium mechanical stress. Please note that larger ABS objects may subject to warping.

The surface of a ZYYX ABS print will be matte.

ZYYX Flex

The ZYYX Flex is our pro grade Flexible filament suitable for printing everything from shoe soles prototypes to RC Car tires. It has an hardness of approximately 60D, and by setting the infill percentage and number of shells in our Simplify3D Profiles, the hardness of the printed model can be varied to better suit your application.

When printing with proFlex we strongly recommend use of our ZYYX SoftSpring to ensure stable extrusion.

The proCarbon™ is a nylon based filament reinforced with carbon fibers. It is developed to allow professionals to rapidly produce customized, high strength parts on their desks. Using the ZYYX proCarbon you can easily create functional prototypes and end-use parts such as tools, jigs, and fixtures.

ZYYX proNylon

The proNylon™ is a nylon based filament for 3D printing. It is developed to allow professionals to rapidly produce nylon parts on their desks. Using the ZYYX proNylon, you can easily create flexible parts with low friction and high toughness. It is also resistant to most chemicals. Ideal applications range from bushings and pulleys to electronics casings where resistance to the environment is a priority.

The removable ZYYX Pro standard Build Plate is made specially for 3D printing in engineering materials such as proNylon and proCarbon. This build plate surface enables easy 3D printing in our engineering materials without any need for a heated plate or adding temporary materials to the plate surface.

A ZYYX pro standard Build Plate will last about 6 months under normal usage. After this time the plate surface will have some wear and to ensure good adhesion the plate should be replaced.

ZYYX pro Multi-Material Build Plate

Our removable ZYYX Pro Multi Material Build-Plate is created to allow printing in other than our engineering materials. This build plate is not suitable for the engineering materials, but offer optimal printing for our ZYYX PLA, ZYYX ABS, ZYYX FLEX among others.

A ZYYX pro Multi Material Build Plate will last about 6 months under normal usage. After this time the plate surface will have some wear and to ensure good adhesion the plate should be replaced.

ZYYX/ZYYX+ Build Plate

The ZYYX+ Build-Plate uses a premium borosilicate glass base plate laminated with a custom plastic surface.
This build-plate surface enables printing with most of the currently available filament types without any need for a heated plate or adding temporary materials to the plate surface.
The build-plate is held in place with three neodymium magnets, making it easy to remove the plate before removing the prints.

A ZYYX+ Build-Plate is supplied with every ZYYX+ 3D printer, and this will last about 6 months under normal usage. After this time the plate surface will have some wear and to ensure good adhesion the plate should be replaced.
